Christopher Dann C. Mercado

Mr. Mercado has extensive experience and is heavily involved in litigation and dispute resolution. 

Mr. Mercado’s litigation practice shuffles among criminal and civil cases, intra-corporate disputes, real property claims, contract disputes, and family law. He prepares legal briefs, pleadings and other court submissions, and has appeared before the trial courts, appellate courts, legislative and executive bodies, as well administrative agencies.

Mr. Mercado also plays lead and sweeping roles in handling high-stakes litigation cases for large insurance companies and other big corporations. He is currently defending panels of insurers against more than half a billion peso claims from insured businesses. He has also spearheaded dismissals of multi-million peso collection claims, claims for large amounts of damage, claims over hectares of premium lots, and breach of contracts. He was actively involved in the team that defended prominent public officials before the Sandiganbayan and Office of the Ombudsman for plunder and graft charges.
