Maria Jocelyn B. Cerezo earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2025 from San Beda College Alabang School of Law, demonstrating both leadership and a strong commitment to legal service. She served as Secretary General of the San Beda Law Student Government and was a member of the Rene A.V. Saguisag Legal Aid Center, providing legal assistance to underserved communities.

She also spent three years with First Day Life Inc., as an Executive Assistant to its Chief Executive Officer, a member of the Marketing Department to support affiliation initiatives, and a leader of its Chargebacks and Disputes Unit for Customer Service Support.

She also has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Santo Tomas and was the recipient of the Best Work Study Paper Award among the Industrial Engineering Batch of 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she served as Assistant Academics Head of the Industrial Engineering Circle from 2017 to 2018 and interned with PAL Express under the Corporate Strategies and Business Excellence Department, Integrated Management Systems Division.
