Every Drop Counts: A High-Level Dialogue for a Water-Secure Country

GSMH Law is proud to have co-sponsored a recently-held event entitled, Every Drop Counts: A High-Level Dialogue for a Water-Secure Country.

The forum tackled vital and timely topics such as the critical role of developing access to potable water as a human right and how to leverage digitalization, technology and infrastructure to make universal access to potable water a reality. 

Various experts generously shared their thoughts and ideas at the conference.  These included Local Water Utilities Administration Chairman Ronnie L. Ong,  Senator Grace Poe , His Excellency Israel Ambassador Ilan Fluss, Congresswoman Bernadette Herrera, Prof. Mely Caballero-Anthony of Nanyang Technological University , Assistant Secretary Glenda Rumohr-Figueroa from the Department of Finance, Ms. Lala Figueroa from the World Bank , Mr. Alan Baird from the Asian Development Bank, and a host of other notable speakers and panelists from both the public  and private sectors.

QarahComms organized the event as its contribution in celebrating Local Water Utilities Administration’s 50th Anniversary.  It was presented by Aboitiz InfraCapital, Standard Systems Water and Waste Technologies, Inc., Tubig Pilipinas; in partnership with Manila Water, Manila Water Philippine Ventures , Maynilad, Metro Pacific Water, PhilHydro  and PrimeWater.
