Aerol D. Nebril earned his Juris Doctor degree and was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence in 2025 at the University of the Philippines College of Law. In law school, Aerol served as one of the commissioners for its Electoral Commission and as member of the Academic Layout Committee of the Bar Operations Commission. Aerol also worked as a Student Research Assistant at UP Law Center’s Institute of Human Rights.

He also has a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science graduate from the University of the Philippines Visayas. During his undergraduate years, he served as President of UP Interactive Society, the official academic organization of Computer Science students at UPV Tacloban College.
