Mr. Cruz is the Salutatorian of his batch in the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary where he obtained his Artium Baccalaureus Philosophiae degree, magna cum laude. He was the elected President of the Philosophy Department and the appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Sapientia – The Official Publication of the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary.

He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor degree from San Beda University: College of Law. During his studies, Mr. Cruz drafted resolutions, handled appeals, and adjudicated claims for the Human Rights Victims’ Claims Board of the Commission of Human Rights of the Philippines. He was chosen as the Subject Head for Corporation Law by the Centralized Bar Operations of San Beda University and was employed by OB Montessori Greenhills to teach basic Civil and Constitutional Law to Grade 9 pupils.

Before passing the 2022 bar examinations, he worked as an Underbar Associate for the Firm and was immersed into civil, criminal, labor, and corporate litigation involving multi-million insurance claims, among others. Mr. Cruz also has experience in immigration, maritime enterprises, and financial technology.
