Mr. Mejia has been an active law practitioner and trial lawyer since his admission to the bar in 1975 consistently up to the present. Apart from his skills and experience as a seasoned litigation lawyer, this courtroom veteran also serves as the corporate secretary and one of the legal counsels of several prominent domestic corporations, which include the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Philippines’ leading broadsheet, Automobile Association Philippines, the national auto club, as well as several real estate development companies.

Even  before  he joined GSMH Law Offices in 2014,  Mr. Mejia has counted among his clients several local insurance companies whose independent adjusters have invariably referred to him disputed  insurance claims for resolution and eventual litigation in court as dictated by circumstances. In the field  of non-life/property  insurance,   he has done collaborative  works  in the past for some  international  law firms, such as  Beachcroft  Wansburghs  of  London  and Singapore,  the Kennedys-law of London, and the Singapore–based DLA Piper  Rudrick  Gray  Cary. He  also   maintains  good professionals  rapport   with local independent adjusters, notably  TMG  Crawford, Cunningham  Lindsey  Philippines, Inc., Manila Adjusters and Surveyors, Esteban Valuers  and  CRM  Adjusters  and Surveyors.
