Celebrating Five Years at GSMH Law: An Employee’s Optimistic View on her Future and the Firm’s Success

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with a tenured employee at GSMH Law who celebrated her fifth year working in the Accounting Department last March 2023.

When asked what made her stay in the firm for half a decade, Chelsea Magsakay, 29 years old,  shared with us that one of the significant reasons was the good relationship she has built with everyone in the firm, both personal and professional.

Camaraderie and Respect

“GSMH Law is different from anywhere I’ve worked at because the partners treat the non-legal staff with the same respect and camaraderie as the legal staff. The work environment is professional and fast-paced, yet everyone is kind and friendly. Both the legal and non-legal staff are friendly,” she said.

It’s impressive to see how much her role has contributed to the firm’s everyday dealings, and she feels like a valued member of the team. Over the years, Chelsea has witnessed her personal growth and believes that the friendly work environment played a vital role in her career advancement.

The Firm’s 15th Anniversary: Celebrating Growth and Inclusion

When we asked about her favorite experience while working at the firm, she mentioned the firm’s celebration of their 15th anniversary, in which the legal and non-legal staff traveled to Singapore. “The Singapore trip was my first time traveling abroad, and I’m thankful that the firm included the non-legal staff in their travels.”

Chelsea has aspirations for herself and the firm. “Over the years, I’ve seen myself grow into a person able to cope and handle increasing responsibilities. I want to be able to handle even more responsibilities in the future. I want to see the firm expand. Mostly, I want everyone – the legal and non-legal staff – to be successful in their endeavors.”

As we wrapped up our conversation, we were impressed by her optimistic outlook on the future of her workplace. Chelsea hopes to spend more years with the staff of GSMH Law and believes that the rewards of staying with a firm that values camaraderie and growth are immeasurable. With her positive attitude and dedication to the team’s success, we have no doubt that she will continue to contribute significantly to the firm’s expansion and development.
